January: OvidiuRo continues its literacy-based interventions in Dâmbovița County

In 2020, Asociația OvidiuRo continues its long-term partnership with Dâmbovița School Inspectorate by launching a two-year literacy-based program focused on expanding children’s vocabularies and improving their language skills – both addressing preschoolers and pupils in primary school (mainly 2nd grade).

Through different types of interventions – from reading aloud sessions or teacher trainings, to literacy-based workshops for children and parents and setting KinderLibraries in poor kindergartens – the pilot-program aims to test and validate a number of key-educational tools that will be integrated in a Literacy Package for Optimizing Early Reading Skills, mainly for at-risk children.
