86% of kids qualified for food coupons

Once again The Alex Fund helped to bring 1200 severely impoverished Romanian children to preschool and kindergarten every school day in March.  Our Romanian partner NGO, OvidiuRo, gives poor parents $16 worth of coupons per month when their children have perfect attendance.  Thus, in addition to teaching the little ones their A, B, C’s, we provided $19,000 worth of food to 1200 needy families in March.  For more details about Fiecare Copil in Gradinita (“Every Child in Preschool”), click here.
