Local teams in poor communities can apply until July 1st for one of the 20 grants – each worth 2,500 Eur – made available by OvidiuRo for the creation of new kindergarten groups for the 2017-2018 school-year. This school-year, the Maramures County Council – in partnership with Prefectura, the School Inspectorate and OvidiuRo – covered the school supplies for all FCG children from the county budget. A total of 1616 kits for preschoolers in disadvantaged areas have so far been distributed for the 2016-2017 school year.
