 Jan 2011 BenefitOn January 19, 180 Alex Fund supporters attended a riveting performance of Blood from a Stone, a new play by Tommy Nohilly, starring Ethan Hawke. A reception followed in the lounge of Theatre Row, featuring delicious Romanian food donated by Raluca Gold and Mona Buruiana. Frank Whalley and his straight lady Heather Bucha conducted a hilarious auction that raised almost $8000. In total, the Alex Fund cleared nearly $24,000, making this our most successful benefit ever! A big thank you to all who joined us and to those who contributed even though they could not be there!
