Fiecare copil in scoala in Bacau

The energy company E.ON has joined the Adopt-a-School initiative by committing to support children at risk for school abandonment in two schools, “Alexandru cel Bun” in Bacau and “Mihail Andrei” School in Buhusi.

With the help of E.ON 50 children will be attending Ovidiu Rom’s Summer School Preparation Program to prepare them for success in school. The summer activities are designed to launch these children into the world of education through imagination, creativity, and critical thinking – compulsory competences for the third millennium.

This is a beginning of a long term public-private partnership designed to raise the rates of literacy and school attainment in areas with high rates of school abandonment.
