Stories for Diversity

Since 2021, OvidiuRo has partnered with Asociatia Cu Alte Cuvinte to fight prejudice and nurture socio-emotional skills, by developing books and teaching practices. In 2024, online training sessions for teachers were launched to address issues of ethnic, economic, physical, and family diversity. The first 500 participants who completed the course receive a package of carefully designed books and pedagogical guides. The course has been extremely popular, with nearly 4000 registered participants, almost half of whom have “graduated.” A goal for 2025 is to cultivate 50 master teachers who will be leaders in anti-bias education in their communities. More book packages must be made available to trained teachers.
