May: 12,000 Children Will Receive a Book to Take Home, with UiPath Foundation Support

Starting September 2019, due to UiPath Foundation support, over 12,000 children in rural areas in Galați and Vaslui counties and Ferentari (București) will receive a book to take home. Also, around 100 kindergartens in disadvantaged areas will get a KinderLibrary (a child-friendly bookcase and a selection of age-appropriate picture books), while over 1600 preschool teachers in Galați, Vaslui, and Ferentari District will be trained within Every Child Deserves a Story national pilot program with UiPath Foundation support.

Through this strategic partnership, UiPath Foundation joins the organizations that support OvidiuRo to bring quality early education closer to at-risk children by exposing them to age-appropriate educational resources – mainly picture books – to use in kindergarten and to take home. Our objective is to give children born in poor families the chance for a good start in school and in life.
